To save your formation do the following:

Windows:
Press "printScreen" on your keyboard (this copies the image in memory).
Then open any image manipulation program (like Paint), and go to File>New.
Then click Edit>Paste. Manipulate as you please, and save your image.

MacOX:
Hold down command+shift+3.
The screen caputured in jpg will be saved on your desktop
